ても — Even If (Concessive)
This lesson covers the conjunctive particle ても, which attaches to the て-form of verbs, い-adjectives, な-adjectives, and nouns to create concessive clauses meaning 'even if' or 'although'. You'll practice forming sentences that contrast an expected or logical outcome with a contrary result, such as 雨が降っても出かけます (Even if it rains, I'll go out). Emphasis is on natural usage in complex sentence structures typical of the N3 level.
Submodule 2 — Purpose and Change
ように / ために — Purpose
Express purpose and goals using ために (concrete goal) and ように (state change goal). Build sentences about study goals, health habits, and future plans.
ようになる / ことになる — Change and Decision
Express gradual change (ようになる) and decided outcomes/external decisions (ことになる). Practice describing life changes and institutional decisions.
Submodule 3 — Passive and Causative
Passive Form (〜られる)
Learn the passive form (受身形) for all verb groups. Understand direct passive (object becomes subject) and indirect passive (someone is affected). Practice with real-world N3 sentences.
Causative Form (〜させる)
Learn the causative form (使役形) for making or letting someone do something. Understand the allow/force nuance. Use in parenting, teaching, and management contexts.
Causative-Passive Form (〜させられる)
This lesson covers the conjugation pattern for combining causative and passive forms, its meaning (being made to do something), and common usage in both affirmative and negative sentences. Practice using it in contexts where the subject is acting under external compulsion.
